You probably had noticed the blog is currently ticking over a little bit (!) I could tell you it’s not my fault, it’s because of the new job, or whatever, but I’ll be honest with you, my friend: it’s been so beautiful and warm in New York these past 2 months that the only thing I really want to do is lie in the sun with a book during the day, and spend my evenings on great rooftops or in exquisite speakeasies.
Don’t worry, I won’t forget about you, and I’ll be back by the end of the summer with a lot of great food places for you to try, a top X (I won’t stop as long as my liver will stay on my side!) of the best rooftops and speakeasies, a lot of posts about New York, nice activities such as attending a TV show or discovering New York on a jet ski, new recipes and a lot of juicy stories, just the way you like it!
If you have some great books suggestions, feel free to share it with me (I am currently reading Henry and June and Venus Erotica by Anaïs Nin, the last book I loved was Dark Places by Gillian Flynn and my favorite are Acide Sulfurique by Amélie Nothomb, L’Etranger by Camus and I cried like a little girl when I read The Fault in our Stars by John Green.) Just to give you an idea!
Thanks and have a terrific summer!
