Dyker Heights, in Brooklyn, is famous for its crazy Christmas lighting… Look at that! and Merry Christmas!

How to get there? The entire neighborhood will be lit but the main displays are on 11th, 12th and 13th avenues, betweek 82nd and 86th street. Take the R (86th) or the D (71st) then walk 15 minutes.

When? From dusk to 9pm, starting the week end after Thanksgiving.

Price? $2.75  one way (price of a metro card).

What to do?

  • Getting wowed by the light and sound installs.
  • Every holiday, more than 100’000 people visit Dyker heights for its lighting craziness. Get ready to see some other people over there!

For who?

  • Everyone

Infrastructures? Not a lot in that zone, but 86th street has a bunch of fast food and restaurants.
