Hi, little samourai!
Today’s recipe is vegan, gluten free, easy peasy, uses only two ingredients, both you should have in your kitchen at all time!! I also must confess I stole this recipe without even changing a thing, on my friend’s blog Chronique et Tribulations. Laurie, the author, shares also her awesome recipes on her other blog, Dans la cuisine de Laurie. Both are in French, but don’t hesitate to take a look, it’s worth it!
So, for the vegan and gf chocolate mouse, which is easy, quickly prepared and delicious, follow me, c’est par ici:
- The juice of a chickpea can
- a little bit less than a cup of dark chocolate
- a pinch of salt
Be careful, the following part requires a lot of your attention
or not. Melt the chocolate in the microwave or on a bain-marie. While melting, beat the chickpea juice until thick and foamy, as you would have done with egg white. Mix the chocolate and the mousse gently and let cool in the fridge for a few hours and… That’s it!
And if you are nogt sure about the combination, just know the mousse will not taste like chickpeas at all and the texture is really fluffy. The Cher-et-Tendre who is really exigent about chocolate
and basically a huge pain in the ass when it comes to food did not notice the chickpeas in it.
And with the peas themselves, make a humus or use it on top of a salad!
