Travel Diary | Toronto Islands, a little taste of Disneyland

When I was younger, my mother and I went do Disneyland Paris, at least 10 times between 1993 and 2008. And she was surely the one having the most fun! Like every spoiled child I hated to queue and my biggest dream was to have the park closing just for me, to enjoy it alone for one entire day! (And I would be lying if I say that it is not still something I would love!)

Lately, while in Canada, we visited Toronto and the Toronto Islands. But when we arrived there, on a late afternoon, we were quite disappointed since everything was already closed. We decided to walk through the island anyway, and discovered a small and colorful amusement park, which was completely deserted. It wasn’t really Disneyland, but I had a lot of fun taking pictures there, alone, like I always wanted to do as a child!
