Smoothie bowls are my go to for breakfast. Don’t get me wrong, I normally pour the entire thing in a jar and leave for work
usually super late, with no make up on and still some toothpaste around the mouth in a rush.
When the week end comes, I like to spend more time preparing it, plating it nicely and using frozen fruits to make my body think I am having ice cream for breakfast (which is one of my favorite thing to do, obviously!) (And in case you were wondering, yes, my body is dumb enough to think frozen fruits are ice cream!)
Here are some of my fav’. With pineapple. Because pineapple.
Pink Smoothie: Pineapple, raspberries, pitaya
• 1.5 cup pineapple, 1.5 cup raspberries, 1/2 pitaya (keep the other half to decorate) • 1 cup coconut water • chia seeds • pomegranate seeds • 1/2 pitaya in tiny spheres •
Yellow Smoothie : Pineapple, banana, mango
• 1 cup of each fruit • 1 cup coconut water (or more if you like it more liquid) • 1/2 banana in slices • shredded coconut • chia seeds • hemp seeds •
Green Smoothie: Pineapple, mango, kale
• 1 cup of each fruit + 1 big handful of kale • 2 cups coconut water • chia seeds • walnuts • dried cranberries • shredded coconut • a few mango chunks •
